The topic of internet safety has so many different connotations, that it can easily become a deterrent when attempting to implement web 2.0 concepts into the classroom.  As technology becomes an essential part of today’s global world, internet safety needs to be a fundamental component to any child’s education.  What should internet safety education entail?  With children starting to use the internet as young as 3, what steps should educational institutions be taking in order to educate and protect their students?  Do you think the Boston Public School’s AUP is ‘good enough’?  How can we protect students without isolating them?  What are your thoughts and suggestions, please comment below.
